For your information, the recent launched Naza Sutera is based on Hafei Lobo, which was designed by Pinifarina, an italian car design and engineering company for the chinese carmaker. Naza has reach a partnership agreement with Hafei years ago.

Naza Group unveiled its first locally built compact car to take on Proton Holdings (Savvy) and Perodua(Myvi) named Sutera.
Naza Sutera 1.1-liter car priced at between RM35,998 and RM36,998.The engine is a 1075 cc 4-cylinder petrol DOHC unit with EFI and produces a modest 48 kW/65 ps of power and 88 Nm of torque at between 3000 and 2500 rpm. It’s a simple engine which is made by Hafei. The model, which took two years to develop, will compete with Proton Holdings’ 1.2- liter Savvy car, priced at more than 37,000 ringgit, and with Perodua, which sells compact cars Myvi RM38K.
Naza expects this year to sell 20,000 units of its Naza Sutera.

Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd will be assembled CK1 at Oriental Holdings Bhd.’s plant, Malaysia - the largest dealer of Honda Motor Corp vehicles. The companies plan to produce 10,000 CK1 cars a year from the Malaysian assembly.
They will export 80% of the cars made in Malaysia and 20% will be sold in this domestic market. Information Gateway, which is the sole distributor of Geely cars in Malaysia, has been appointed to export Geely cars from Malaysia to 40 right-hand drive countries worldwide, including the U.K. and Australia.
How well does this 1.3 litre CK1 model be receipt by our local market? Will have to wait and see…
