There are people in South Pacific has adapted their cars with coconut oil instead of diesel fuel. As the story told that, this coconut oil is unlike other types of biodiesel, which it doesn’t required transesterized (mixed with sodium hydroxide and alcohol to change its chemical composition in order to run in diesel engine), but instead coconut oil can be used by just filthering and warmed it to temperatures about 25C. That’s sound easy…
It is said that coconut oil burns more slowly, and it can produced pressure on engine pistons, reducing engine wear, and lubricates the engine more effectively. The only thing is, it can only be used in a modified diesel engine.

Let’s say you’re one of them - people with kids. You have to haul’em around all over the place,
and you’re not the SUV type. The TrioBike, a triple function device, could be just the thing for you. Just Imagine you can load two kids in the front carrier and ride them to school or day-care. Detach the carrier and leave it in the school. Retrieve the bikes front wheel, cleverly located under the base of the carrier and continue on riding to work.Reverse the process in the afternoon… But too bad… In malaysia, you do not have such safe road to let you ride this.
Designed in Denmark, the trioBike is an affordable and flexible inner urban transport solution for a business, family or individual. The trioBike has three basic configurations – as a standard pushbike, a human-powered transport vehicle with space for an 80 kilogram cache of goods or two children plus support system, or a lightweight shopping trolley/pushchair. TrioBike is designed to transform without the need for tools, has zero running costs (including free parking) and is obviously a pollution-free transport solution.
So, you wondering how much does it cost? Sadly to tell if you want to be enviromentalist, this stuff is not cheap for you. It will cost you around $2,450 USD or RM9187. More than enough to let you buy two modenas motorbike. However, since petrol prices keep rising, perhaps you would consider one?
