This car is actually owned by Scott Owens of Edge Audio (Tempe, Arizona), His 2002 Ford F-250 is a record breaking machine. He had the highest SPL record, that is 173.3 dB. He also is a winner of the Death Match SPL (166.8dB), thanks to his 36 Pioneer amplifiers inside his truck.

This Pioneer’s DEX-P1R’s function is to control the system. This unit is mounted in a special pod to control the system outside the car during competition.

This is gone crazy: Inside the car, you can see there was 36 amplifiers stacked over a bed of 72 Turbo Start batteries that produce almost 115,200 Watts of power.

Nine Premier TS-W5000SPL subwoofers in a wall produce sound pressure levels at 173.3 dB.

Modded by 5-Axis company’s master fabricator, Troy Sumitomo, this boxy Scion xB is been modded into an ultimate party machine. The rear door is been customized into a DJ stage and the equipment rack. Further details please continue reading this article.


Mounted on the rear passenger doors are the Pioneer REV series component speakers. The rear passenger doors moves open to reveal four sets of the TS-C160R REV speakers installed in custom shaped enclosures.

These are the “party mixer”: Two Technics 1200 turntables, two Pioneer CDJ-1000 MK2 CD turntables, and the DJM-600 mixer.

Four Pioneer TS-W12PRS 12-inch subwoofers provide glass-breaking sound waves. The REV style grills match the REV speakers on the passenger doors.

The DJ is now have a spin in this xB.

The body has been sprayed in a bright Tangelo Pearl paint, and under the wide body kit is the custom build 19×8 and 19×10 Budnik wheels, which feature a deep lip and the tires is provided by BFGoodrich company.

The rear door of this xB can fully move out to reveal the Pioneer DJ products. When the rear fully opens, two CDJ-1000s and a DJM-600 mixer moves up, ready to play music for the public. Two AVD-W8000 8-inch monitors mounted next to the CDJ-1000s and monitor in the rear window provide video entertainment. These close-ups show the way the rear door opening.

Been modded by 5-Axis, this Scion tC is the most aggresive demo car ever maded. Believe it or not, there’s a Pioneer 43-inch plasma TV mounted behind the car! More details in this article.

The centre of the system is the Pioneer AVIC-N2 navigation and entertainment system. In the doors, are Pioneer’s TS-C160R 6.5-inch component speaker package. These speakers are hiding behind the door.

Two GM-D510M digital mono amplifiers are mounted behind the rear seats to power the three TS-SW124D 12-inch subwoofers that’s mounted in a motorized subwoofer enclosure. The the lifting mechanism for the Pioneer 43-inch plasma TV is fixed at the center.

Three TS-SW124D shallow subwoofers will moves forward as the hatch begins to lift. When the hatch closes, the boom box moves back to clear way for the plasma television.

This is the massive bracket that lifts the door and the plasma TV. The amplifiers also is a part of the rack. On each side of the rear quarter windows equips the Pioneer AVD-W8000 8-inch monitors.

When the rear door is closed, you wouldn’t know there’s a Pioneer 43-inch plasma TV hiding in the trunk. When press the remote alarm button, the rear hatch starts to move up to expose the awesome plasma TV. The rear end of the trunk were separated and hinged to show four REV TS-D161R 6.5-inch speakers. The boom box also will moves forward. These close-ups show thw way the rear door opening.


The custom pods were made for four REV speakers that fixed on the rear hatch. The mount and hatch moves up completely show the speakers to the public.

The wheels were made exclusively for this Scion tC. Rays Wheels company made a set of ultra-wide G-games 77W for this car. The four-caliper brake set are provided by TRD company.

A center mount exhaust fixed beautifully in the middle of the body kit giving it a racing car looking. The rear air dams are made of carbon fiber.
