Been heard quite a few times that snake has entered someone’s cars. I was kinda shocked and puzzled of how did it happen? I mean, a snake wasn’t some creature where you can find everywhere. How does it came to encountered with cars and how are we suppose to do if we saw one entered our car?
Now I know how. Call the fireman for help! A brief news from NST today stated while one motorist was having his breakfast at a restaurant in Brickfield, a cobra has slithered out from the drain and entered his car. Frantically, he alerted the KL City Hall and fireman. They caught the cobra after 2 hours and their weapon is aerosol spray.

Fuel stations will continue accepting payment by credit card as supporting banks have agreed to reduce the charge imposed on fuel station operators by 0.3 % per litre of petrol or diesel from Nov 1st.
New Charges VS Old Charges:
0.83 % per litre petrol/diesel Compare to current 1.13%
OR
1.34sen per litre petrol Compare to current 1.83sen
1.06 sen per litre diesel Compare to current 1.45 sen
Now the bad news to those who use credit card to pay petrol:
As a mean of reducing the financial cost of the banks, consumers paying for fuel with the credit card would be ineligible for bonus points under consumer loyalty programmes (which means the amount you use for petrol payment is not counted to waive the monthly/annual fee as impose by certain credit company.** Certain credit card company need you to spend at least RM50 each month or else some charges will impose to your account.).

Petrol dealers have been told to continue to accept credit cards at petrol kiosks after Hari Raya Aidilfitri next month, said Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shafie Apdal.
Before this, Petrol Dealers Association of Malaysia (PDAM) said they will stop accepting credit cards from next month after Hari Raya due to the reason of high interest charges by banks.
PDAM President Zari Ishak said petrol dealers found it difficult to cover the high operational costs as the profit was only 8 sen per litre for petrol and 3.5 sen for diesel. He said the current 1.25 per cent fee imposed by credit card companies on them was considered high.
For example, every litre of diesel purchased using a credit card, 1.601 sen went to the bank as commission and the petrol station operator only gained 1.899 sen.
One of the suggestion given by PDAM is to transfer the credit cards charges of 1.25 per cent to the customers. ( THIS IS A REALLY STUPID SUGGESTION - ALL THE CREDIT CARD USERS WILL TOTALLY DISAGREE OF THIS IDEA)
They should deal this issue with the bank and not giving such stupid suggestion that will further burden Malaysia motorists.

News from Bernama:
1,502 of potong cars found from January till August this year and 1,407 last year compared to 131 in 2003, 153 in 2002, 124 in 2001 and 82 in 2000.
“The number is rising because finance companies have made it mandatory for old cars to be inspected before financing is given,”
Apart from the inspection requirement, the ministry was studying several proposals including by non-governmental organisations to protect car buyers from being tricked into purchasing “kereta potong”.
My question is: If all used cars have to be mandatory inspected before financing is given, why still so many kereta potong out there? That must be something happen during the inspection process, you and i can guess what it is - CORRUPTION!!
What if i am the unlucky who bought a used car and later found out it is a kereta potong? Who fault was it ? Can i sue the Used Car Dealer who sold the car to me? OR PUSPAKOM? and get back my money? For safety purpose, I think is better to drive the car you going to purchase to puspakom and check it out yourself before u paying any money…

Yeah… Your just got your new car key. Eagerly to drive away and show it off to everyone. Not only the paint is new, everything includes the “new” smell inside. Now, think twice when you enjoying the new car smell, it is hazardous to your health.
According to study, “new car smell” is caused by volatile organic compounds that could cause headaches, sore throat, nausea and possibly cancer to human body.
The smell usually comes from the plastic, glue and carpeting in the car. When those materials are new, they’re unstable and give off gases, including benzene and formaldehyde, two toxic poisonous gases.
Several Japanese automakers are trying to build their vehicles to match Japanese Health Ministry guidelines for air quality in homes. Not sure about other automakers on their move towards create a “healthier” vehicle.
The health risks will subside in about six months when the smell fades. Meanwhile, a way to reduce inhaling of poisonous gas is to rolling down your windows while driving new car, well, provided you are not driving in a heavy traffic environment, else the smog outside could be even a bigger threat to your health.

Government will continue to encourage public transport operators, especially buses and taxis to use natural gas for their vehicles (NGV) as it has been found that its price is far lower than diesel or petrol.(about 42 per cent less than the petrol price)
Given real situation: The distance between Seremban and Kuala Lumpur city is about 100km, driving a normal 1500cc petrol car will cost you around RM15, but if your car using NGV it will only cost you RM4. A pretty big saving isn’t it? The fall back that is you need to spend around Rm3K-4k to turn your petrol car into NGV. If this is not a problem for you, then try driving around and look for NGV station and then wait in a long queue to get your car gas fuel. Well, I guess this might already turn many people away… (KL Taxi drivers always complaint on the insufficiency of NGV station)
Goverment said that, 12 more NGV stations will be build before the end of this year. Which now 39 stations in total. Currently all NGV station is operated by Petronas. (How can we be possibly suffer from insufficient of NGV station in Malaysia?)
In some developed country, they have already using biodisel and hybrid technology in their public transport system, which is less pollution and cheaper.
