At the early 80’s, we are proud of having our own national car. But nowsaday, the situation is rather different.
With almost 20 years of time and investing billions of ringgit in building up this national car, till today, we are still not being able to produce a 100% made in Malaysia car. Not even the core of the car which is the engine part.
But look at Hyundai, which started their auto industry at around the same time as we are, and now, they have enter the international auto market and compete with other big brand car manufacturers. And what about our beloved Proton? Still asking mama to feed him milk? (protection from goverment).
Come on, how old are you now? 20++ years old! It should be a mature adult at this age. Shouldn’t you be strong enough to be independent. Improve yourself! Be a national car that we proud to show it to the world.
