Proton Cars Plan To Enter Japan

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 14 (Bernama) — Proton Holdings Bhd hopes that the recently signed Japan-Malaysia Economic Partnership Agreement (JMEPA), will provide greater market access for Proton cars and auto components into Japan.
Do you think Proton is serious about this? Probably is another failure. Proton losses continued widen to RM160 million thanks to the provisions made to loss making motorcycle maker MV Augusta of Italy which it owns… Proton is eagerly finding new market in regional to sell its cars. But due to the limited choices of model available for consumer to buy, we can forsee the future of Proton is pretty dim…
