Ooh!!! Fuel Prices Up Again?!

Start from today (31st July 2005), petrol price will be up 10 sen from RM1.52 to RM1.62 per litre and diesel too will be up 20 sen from RM1.081 to RM1.281 per litre. This is the third time fuel prices increase in year 2005.
Seeing the trend of increasing fuel price, no wonder cars with smaller capacity are selling good. Not only they are affordable in terms of purchase price, but also economically sound when maintaining it and fill it’s “thirst” for fuel.
Wondering what if all cars on the road now are not using petrol but some other sources like solar energy, electric generated energy and etc.? Perhaps then we’ll not depend on fuel so much and feeding our beloved car with expensive energy. Wonder when hybrid car will be introduce and mass-produce in Malaysia… That way, we could have opt for this alternative to curb the oil rises problem.
Guess for the time being, we have to bear with the continuous increasing of fuel prices as goverment has stated they will not remove the subsidy neither they will bear the fuel price by increasing the subsidy.
