MKN Motorsport Sdn Bhd hopes to import hybrid car into Malaysia soon. The CEO Azniputra Syed Abdullah say that they are looking forward to apply AP (approved permits) from Matrade as early as next week.
He said the possibly hybrid cars they intended to bring in will be Toyota Harrier and Toyota Alphard hybrid among all.
To all the readers, if you are still unfamillar with hybrids, it is a car with dual engine - one battery-powered and another powered by petrol or diesel. Thus, it is much fuel efficient and say to be more environmental friendly. It has been quite popular in US and Thailand has already a hit with it.
Being a hybrid car fans, I would hope that this car can bring in to Malaysia soon. It might not be so affordable at the moment, however it is still a start for us to familiarize with it.

I don’t mind whether it’s a home made hybrid or imported one. This technology should somehow need to begin here. We have to adopt this thing fast! This should be the future motor industry!
