  You guys are missing the point.
  For one, Top Gear is meant to be a form of entertainment, ie: biased views are to be expected from the show.
  For another, what he says is true. I’ve driven the Kelisa before and I love it. But do you honestly think it’s such a great car? It’s literally a licence-built Daihatsu Mira Mk3 - which means none of the Perodua engineers have touched it at all - except the badges.
  The Kelisa, while a very decent and sweet cheap car is exactly what Clarkson says it is. Built with no soul, no love, no passion and driven by old people who signal left when they turn right (at least outside Malaysia).

  It’s a reliable cheap car that brings me from point A to point B. If ALL the cars are around the same price, every patriotic malaysians will not buy it. Enough said

  Any patriotic malaysian wanna swap his honda city with my kelisa?
