Dr. M and Proton Management

Proton Advisor Dr M said that Proton should partner with Volkswagen so that Proton can benefit from its advance technology. He also mentioned that Volkswagen might have shares in Proton but not take over it.
This is what he said:
“Volkswagen can benefit from the lower cost in Malaysia and we can benefit in technology. However, it is up to them (management of Proton), I believe they are discussing but I don’t know the progress,”
Meanwhile:
In the NST news said:
Proton was planning to abandon its plans to set up a plant in China as it felt a potential tie-up with Germany’s Volkswagen might provide an economical entry into the market there.
“I don’t know, I have not been told about this thing. But you are going to find a lot of things wrong with Proton now,�Dr M said.
So you might start wondering what’s happening between Dr. M and The Proton Management? They seems to have no communication between them. What’s the Proton final structure will be like? What likely the problems will be highlighted as been told by Dr. M?
