At the incoming Geneva Motor Show Mercedes-benz will show the new SL-Class.
There were only few changes in this car: a redesigned front section, new tailamp units and new light-alloy wheels, that give the SL-Class a more dynamic character.

A V8 engine that producing 388 hp and 530 Nm of torque enables the SL500 to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 5.4 seconds. The V12 Biturbo engine mounted on the SL600 also upgraded: the output and maximum torque have been increased to 517 hp and 830 Nm, and the 0-100 km/h acceleration has been reduced 4.5 seconds. In the powertrain area, the Active Body Control(ABC) was upgraded also and a new steering set-up with a more direct ratio was equipped. The brake systems of the SL 350 and SL 500 have been optimised for the increased horsepower.
