Proton Free Rides?

This news is not only about Proton, it is about Proton and our news media. An audition in Proton has recently revealed that, there are 70 cars provided by Proton to individual and news media for feedback on its weeknesses and strength. What being concerned here is that, whether such move will destroyed the integrity of our news media to report fair and trustworthy news to the public. As you might know, the write-ups in trade magazines and newspapers are considered invaluable “free marketing” to the any company. So, be ‘open’ minded when you read any piece of news. Make wise choice by researching in more resources.

More Proton Savvy AMT Will Out This December

proton savvyNational car maker Proton Holdings Bhd targets to produce about 4,000 units of the new range of Proton Savvy, — Savvy AMT — by year end.

New Savvy AMT, featured with Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), with the option of selecting between automatic mode and sequential-shift manual gears. Currently that is only manual model available for Savvy.

Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Sdn Bhd’s said 12,000 units of Proton Savvy including our new Savvy AMT by year end. ( comparing to Savvy Rival, Myvi According to Perodua, there are already about 13,000 Myvi on the road and expected by year end, registration of MyVi will reach 35,000 registration. The Waiting period is more than 1 year.) Read our previous blog.

The Savvy AMT is priced from RM45,888 and is available in five colors — Apple Green, Sterling Grey, Magma Red, Sratos Blue and Midnight Black. Savvy Manual is priced from Rm42,88.
