It’s all because of MyVi fault, because of the demand of MyVi was so high, because of the desire of having a MyVi was so strong, because the waiting period for delivery of the cars is so long ( about seven months)…
So what some anxious buyers will do? Paid extra money in order to get the car deliver fast.
And this is what happen…
A Perodua executive has been detained by the Anti-Corruption Agency for allegedly “arranging� fast delivery of MyVi cars to customers for fees of between RM2,000 and RM4,000 each car.
Working with certain dealers, the 31-year-old man is said to have enabled buyers to get their cars within two weeks if they were willing to pay. News from thestar.
According to the news, the executive had amassed between RM40,000 and RM50,000. And these money are share 50% with dealers for each transaction. So you can estimate how many car buyers are willing to paid him the EXTRA money - take the highest “bid” - RM4,000 for each car :
RM50,000 / (RM4,000 x 50% (which share with dealers)) = 25 cars approximately.
And this is just one executive being caught doing this, is there anymore out there?

In the future, it is possible for mobile phone to automatically dial 911 in a car crash - a recent application from Texas Instruments filing for such patent right.
It is said that an accelerometer built into a cell phone could detect a violent shock and compare it to other acceleration profiles in a library to determine whether the shock resulted from a safe event, like the device being dropped, or a dangerous one like an auto accident. If the cause is determined to be dangerous, 911 is automatically dialed a recorded message is transmitted. Phones enabled with GPS could also provide the exact location of an accident.
