Bugatti Veyron finally goes into production

The Bugatti company, which is owned by Volkswagen AG, has announced the 1000hp Veyron finally goes into production last month.This car will cost up to RM4.75 million. According to New Straits Times, Michael Schumacher and Jay Leno has already in the buyers list. David Beckham is considering the Veyron. Any Malaysians interested with this car?

The Veyron’s W16 engine(two narrow-angle V8 cylinder blocks, merged at 90 degrees into one, share same crankshaft. 8 litres, quad turbochargers, 16 cylinder, 64 valves, with output of 1000hp at 6000rpm).The dry sump lubrication system is borrowed from F1 race cars.The Veyron will reach to 100km/h in just 2.5 seconds, 200km/h in 7.3 seconds and 300km/h in 16.7 seconds. The Veyron already smash the world record speed of a production car with 407.08km/h, beating the McLaren F1, the previous holder, 386.4km/h.

The Veyron’s body is made by single piece carbon-fibre monocque. The permanent 4wd, and that two snorkles supply 45,000 litres of air per minute.

The Accelerometer displays horsepower that calibrated to1001hp. The special thing is the speedometer and powermeter neddles has mount two 1 carat diamonds. Other feature is the Burmester stereo system, the sequential 7 speed gearbox and the powermeter that displays how much power is being used.

The Ettore Bugatti’s undefeatable T13 Brescia. It is born at 1910.

The 1924 T35 has top speed of 103mph. It is the most successful Grand Prix racing car with over 1000 victories.

The 1929 T41 Royale, equipped a 12.76 litres, 8 cylinders and 24 valves.

The 1934 T54 is designed by the son of Ettore, Jean Bugatti. The top speed is 95mph.
