Drama Queen Steal Media Attention

It was a day with celebration and patriotism. Expected to be seen is the dazzling shows of merdeka parade, happy faces, cheerful people in this meaningful day. What unexpected was the public show of remorse with Rafidah hugging Dr. M.

Yes, this indeed has shock everyone until today. She has once again steal the headline of major media successfully and makes everyone puzzled on her move. She had denied about apologised to Dr. M on the recent AP issue and she cried because she feels close to Dr. M.

On the other side, Dr. M too response that she was not making apology and he has reiterated the issue with AP is about Proton and not Rafidah ministry. (More from Bernama)

Why she cried? Nobody knows… This is the third public shows of tears by Rafidah. And it all seems to be related to Dr. M…

What’s Next : Oil Price Hike Again?

The Cabinet will discuss the impact and counter measure for Soaring oil prices to Malaysian on next Wednesday.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Said:
“We will look into several measures that we can take, perhaps a look into road tax or toll charges. I am certainly hoping the NCCIM(National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia) can give suggestions. I do not want to say what the proposals are until the Cabinet discusses them,”
One of the proposal is - The Government would look into introducing biodiesel faster so that it may be used by all public transportation vehicles.

The last hike in fuel prices was on July 31st, when the cost of petrol at the pump went up by 10 sen a litre and diesel by 20 sen a litre.

50% Off Traffic Fine!

jpj_logoMalaysia authority has announced a 50% discount on summonses. This offer starts from 1st Sept till 22nd Sept. Malaysian rushed to pay up their traffic fine after the announcement. As usual, our JPJ congested with long queues of people waiting to settle the summonses.

However the offer only applies to fines of RM40 and above, and excludes summonses issued along with arrest warrants for seriously errant motorists, officials have said.

First, the authority said will arrested whoever that has not pay their fine on time. Now, they came up with a softer approach - discount. Which ways work better? Will it be happen in the future that everyone will wait for some kind of special offer to pay the fine, instead of paying it on time?
