Maserati Quattroporte

August 27th, 2005 at 09:40pm pep boyz Category : Collection, Luxury

The Maserati Quattroporte, literally 4 door, is the lastest in a long and honourable line of Maserati saloon.

Look at it, it’s lovely. The interior smeels like a Milanese designer briefcase. Owners can personalise their Quattroporte by choosing from literally thousands of colour and trim specifications.

For conclusion, this car is really nice. I can tell that, super+luxury=Maserati quattroporte.

Peugeot Three Wheeler, The 20Cup

August 27th, 2005 at 04:46am tiger Category : Car Tech

This Peugeot’s 20Cup concept car, is a three wheel roaster that’s not just build for display, it is really a serious road car fast more than you could imagine.

Who said car must be 4 wheels to run on the road? The 20Cups built with a motor car at its front and a motorcycle by its single rear wheel at rear. Is powered by a turbo-charged 4-cylinder petrol engine developed by Peugeot and BMW, it Can give a maximum power of 125 kW (more than 170 bhp for less than 500 kg!) and a maximum torque of 240 Nm. The 6-speed manual gearbox is controlled by the paddles under the steering wheel. (like F1 Steering Wheel)?? So do you dare to drive it?

This sporty, three-wheel roadster, shown in two examples, differentiated only by colour white and black.

The rear tyre is a 377/71 R18.

The front tyres are 210/65 R18s

Is it a car or a motorcycle??

Rolls-Royce Phantom

August 27th, 2005 at 01:04am pep boyz Category : Collection, Luxury

This car is really big, the front end looks like truck to me. The Rolls-Royce Phantom is the first model produced since German companies BMW and Volkswagen worked together to prise Rolls-Royce and Bentley respectively out of british ownership.

The new ultra luxurious Rolls-Royce Phantom developed by BMW swuccessfully combines traditional values with advanced technology.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom is fitted by run-flat tyres so there’s no need for a spare. The RR logo on the hub always remains upright.

Less stressful drive with new Mercedes S-class

August 26th, 2005 at 07:21pm frances Category : Car Tech

Well, for those who are driving especially city folks, know how stressful it can be when you just unavoidably stuck in the long queue or driving with lot’s of vehicles moving in a very slow speed. Chances are that drivers often feel impatient but forced to surpress their angers as these are things that everyone on the road are facing.

Now Mercedes benz has released research showing the psychophysical stress experienced by drivers travelling long distances in the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class is lower than in other vehicles. It says to have reduce drivers heart beating rate (5 beats per hour lower) compare to other competitor models. Sounds good? I certainly love to have one for the purpose of health benefit.

The marvellous 7

August 26th, 2005 at 12:25am pep boyz Category : Collection, Luxury

I like this 7-series because it looks more exotic than the previous model. The kidney grille has been revised, stretched longer to accommodate the new power dome. The front end looks sleeker and does not appear too bulky as the previous model.Xenon light is standard, and the same goes for the head light washer system.

I particularly impress by the iDrive control. The iDrive concept is a great idea as it allows the driver access to a lot of functions without having hundreds of buttons on the dashboard. However, there is a problem to it. Imaging having 400 functions and dividing them into eight categories.Would you remember which function falls into which category? Same thing goes to the expanding menu bar that will make navigation a bit longer.

The 7-series is a great drive but the owner better have a computer loving young punk as a co-driver to fiddle with the big knob.

Ford Mustang Mach 1 Diamonds Are Forever (1971; Sean Connery)
Little-Known Bondmobile Ford Mustang Mach 1Facts
• There is a classic continuity error in the film: The Mustang Mach I tips one way going into the alley, but tips in the opposite direction as it exits. This apparently occurred because the stunt was shot separately with two different stunt drivers. During filming, the director could not get a usable shot of the car exiting the alley because of the crowd that had gathered in the background. After doing the stunt again later, a different problem emerged. The filmmakers realized after the fact that the second stunt driver tipped the car up on the wrong two wheels. To account for the inconsistency, the final cut of the film inserts a shot of Sean Connery and Jill St. John in the car as it goes through the alley in which the car switches sides. It plops down on all four wheels then tips up the opposite way even though the alley would have been too narrow for that.
