According to NST, Malaysian Highway Authority was holding discussions with highway concessionaires on installing cameras to detect speeding motorists.
Well, this is no ordinary camera which previously used manually by authority to take pictures of speedy motorist, instead each pair of these new tiny cameras can be installed in between lanes and one will measures speed and another will photographs the license plates at speeds up about 240 kmph. And this system is efficient enough where once the photographs taken, it will transmitted directly to Bukit Aman to processed and let the authority issue summonses.
